Director of Platform Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering & DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Platform Engineering and DevSecOps organization to design, deliver, and operate shared infrastructure for software systems

Define and execute the long-term platform roadmap ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for a large software engineering organization

Architect and implement AWS-based solutions and manage the DevSecOps strategy, embedding security and automation into workflows

Required Qualifications

15+ years of experience in software or platform engineering

Minimum of 8 years leading technical teams, with 4+ years in Platform Engineering or DevOps for a large organization

Deep hands-on experience with AWS production systems and architecture design

Expert in CI / CD frameworks and infrastructure as code

Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
