Infant/Toddler

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

• Develop a positive working relationship with co-teacher
• Assist co-teacher (if applicable) with the supervision of students in all instructional settings
• Assist co-teacher (if applicable) with behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors
• Assist in tailoring lessons to an individual student's needs
• Adapt classroom activities, assignments, and/or materials to support and reinforce classroom objectives
• Monitor students during meals, naps, recess, and transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom
• Classroom restrooms should be checked throughout the day
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, local board policies, administrative guidelines, childcare licensing policies
• Required to monitor children on the playground
• Required to pick up/hold/carry infants and toddlers and their personal items
• Position includes periods of walking/sitting/standing/bending/kneeling
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience

WORK HOURS, OVERTIME, WEEKENDS, ETC:

Monday-Friday (Various shifts, but will work as needed)

PROPOSED RATE:

$15/Hr.
