Job Description :

  • Location : 10500 Heritage, Suite 102, San Antonio, TX 78216.
  • Position : Full-time Legal Accounting Specialist.
  • Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM.

We are honored to have been named a Top Workplace in 2024 and 2025 by the San Antonio Express-News and are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and finalize personal injury settlements, including verification of settlement breakdowns.
  • Prepare and issue payments to clients, vendors, and medical providers.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
  • Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with attorneys and legal teams to ensure settlement accounting is completed accurately and timely.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and updating data using spreadsheets and accounting software.

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role within a law firm or legal setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
  • Experience with personal injury settlements and related disbursements preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
