Leidos is seeking dedicated licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting U.S. military service members and their families as they navigate important life adjustments while serving their country.

The Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (Adult-MFLC) position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide non-medical support, including counseling, consultation, and outreach, to service members and their families. This preventive counseling aims to address issues before they escalate into larger challenges.

Military life can present unique emotional and environmental challenges for service members, spouses, and family members. This is your chance to connect and assist them when they need it most.

Core Responsibilities Include :

• Providing face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families, including individuals, couples, and families.
• Engaging in activities with service members, military spouses, and families; offering coaching, guidance, and support to installation staff; and modeling effective behavior management techniques.
• Delivering presentations to service members, military families, and leadership at military-connect events.
• Promoting positivity and creativity through approved materials.
• Building rapport with families by attending community and installation events.
• Assisting with transition adjustments, such as settling into new schools and homes.
• Participating in regular training and other assigned contract activities.
• Communicating trends and issues at the assigned installation to Team Leads.

Work Environment :

In accordance with the Department of Defense directives, duties will be performed in both indoor (approximately 60%) and outdoor (approximately 40%) settings. Indoor work will typically be in controlled school environments, while outdoor tasks may involve navigating uneven surfaces and varying weather conditions.

Licensure Portability :

Licensed Military and Family Life Counselors can now provide services at any location within the U.S., regardless of their state of licensure, following recent changes in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Pay Range : $57,850.00 - $104,575.00. Compensation may vary based on responsibilities, experience, skills, and market alignment.
