Steel Estimator

Position : Steel Erection Estimator (Remote)

Our capabilities include steel erection, precast concrete, tower crane services, and preconstruction engineering / design assistance. We believe safety, collaboration, and quality are non‑negotiable.

Now, we’re seeking an Estimator to help us win and deliver the next generation of landmark projects. We are seeking an estimator to contribute to the team, or a experienced leader ready to take over the department.

What You’ll Do :

As an Estimator you will play a pivotal role in shaping project scope, budgets, and execution. Key responsibilities include :

• Review drawings, specifications, and request for proposals (RFPs) to understand project requirements
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs (steel, concrete, connections, labor, equipment)
• Prepare cost estimates, direct costs, indirects, overheads, and contingency allowances
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to validate constructability assumptions
• Develop and present bid packages and proposals to management and clients
• Monitor and maintain estimation databases and historical cost records
• Provide value-engineering input to optimize cost, schedule, and constructability
• Assist in post‑bid work : reviewing subcontractor scopes, clarifications, and incorporating changes
• Support change order pricing and claims as needed
