Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a GI Fellowship P rogram Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 75% Clinical / 25% Academic
• Maintain ongoing certification and compliance with ACGME requirements
• Be a role model of professionalism
• Ensure the program’s compliance with institutional policies and procedures and ACGME requirements
• Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education, develop and review program curricula, and monitor fellow supervision at all participating sites.
• Work with other departments and other clinical sites to develop and maintain appropriate clinical and educational rotations for the fellows and residents
• Regularly assess and promote fellow well-being while fostering an environment in which diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the forefront of fellows’ clinical and academic experiences
• Develop opportunities for bidirectional communication with fellows and faculty
