Accountant - Temporary, 6-Month Assignment With Conversion Potential

Location : 100% Onsite in Oklahoma City, OK

Compensation : $25-$30 / hr

Assignment : 6 months, with potential for conversion to permanent employment

Position Overview :

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in providing a wide range of accounting services for our client, supporting both routine and more complex financial functions. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), contribute to operational excellence, and support regulatory reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver comprehensive accounting services in accordance with GAAP.

Provide support for accounts payable and perform analyst-level duties as needed.

Perform transaction processing, including wire transfers, general ledger (GL) entries, reconciliations, and reporting.

Assist in the procurement of branch currency, handle various deposit processing, and help balance investment portfolios and fixed asset accounts.

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and routine processes.

Requirements : Qualifications :

2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.

Proficiency in general ledger, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.

Experience with wire transfers, accounts payable, and preparing regulatory reports preferred.

Advanced Excel and accounting software skills.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.

Clear background and strong credit history (required for employment).

The role is a full-time, fully onsite position in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is a temporary position (6 months) with strong potential for conversion to a permanent role.
