    • You stay calm under pressure, adapt easily, and help reinforce structure through playdates and daily routines.                   Job Duties :

  • Everyday will be a bit different based on which children are present for care.
  • Some days you may have all 5, others just 2 or 3, and a few days each month, no children will be in the home.

    • Our standard schedule every two weeks is as follows :

  • Week 1 - Mon / Tues (2 kids), Wed / Thurs (3 kids), Fri (5 kids).
  • Week 2 - Mon / Tues (no kids), Wed / Thurs (5 kids), Fri (no kids).
  • Standard daily responsibilities include picking the children up from school.

    • School ends daily at 2 :

  • 45 p.m. and on some days, due to after school extracurriculars, the kids are to be picked up at 4pm.

    • Routine would be as follows :

  • Calm transition home into the afternoon.
  • You’ll support them with chores, homework, and getting them to and from other activities.
  • This would mean, a light snack and / or even prepping an early dinner before pickups would be ideal.
  • We focus on setting routine with the kids and they thrive on that and with participating in that, such as helping prep snacks, etc.
  • We also have 3 dogs that the children help to care for, such as feeding them dinner, picking up the outside and taking them for walks.
  • We walk them through the after school routine and discuss who will do what.
  • Our Hearth will be set up to eliminate the guessing game and further assistance with continuity.
  • Additional duties include assisting them with their laundry (transition from school to play) and helping them get organized for the following day (outfits set and ready to go, backpacks and sporting bags set and ready to go, additional clothes based on weather (snow boots, hats, gloves, etc).
  • We ask that you leave the home in better shape than you found it, maintaining a tidy and orderly environment.
  • On the days when there aren’t children in the home, we would love for the nanny to help with global resets of the home, such as grocery shopping, changing bedsheets , laundry, etc.
  • We have cleaners that come every other week on Thursdays during the day.
  • So the wednesday before, assistance in helping get set for the cleaners is ideal.

    • Position Highlights :

  • 15 hours a week guaranteed Qualifications : Responsible, reliable, engaging, and organized Set yourself apart : Someone who is sporty, as the children are into many different sports!

    • Schedule :

  • Starting as soon as the right fit is identified on Monday-Friday from 2 : 45-6 pm.
  • Going until at least the end of the school year with the opportunity to flex into the summer and the following school year.
