A company is looking for a Legal Specialist (Development Law).

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of development law projects, including legal drafting and collaboration with national and international consultants

Conduct legal research and analysis, and assist in drafting national and regional legislation and legal opinions

Contribute to legal capacity development through training, outreach activities, and organizing events

Required Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Law or a relevant discipline; a Bachelor's degree and a PhD in Law are assets

Minimum of 1 year of relevant practical experience, including research

Working knowledge (Level C) of English; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset

Experience in legal drafting and implementing national projects is preferred

Familiarity with food and agriculture legislation and international organizations is beneficial
