Responsibilities
Develop, status, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely mannerEnsure established program baseline control processes are followed and meet business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectivesUse critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays / issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts, and propose corrective actions to program partnersPerform independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning. Support development of programmatic opportunities / risks and their mitigation strategies. Ensure mitigation tasks are in the schedule.Generate schedule metrics and reports related to execution of the Program and provide monthly status in conjunction with Program FinanceWork with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules and the Program Summary Master ScheduleSchedule presentations which may include presentations to Program Management, Executive Leadership Team, or customersEstablish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance managementProvide assistance and guidance to program manager (PM), technical leads and control account managers (CAM) in developing appropriate schedule tasks, work-flow planning and summary roll-up taskIdentify and develop creative techniques to create, manage, and status an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that integrates both waterfall and Agile methods from a diverse group of stakeholdersQualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred5-10 years experience Scheduling for complex programsMust have aerospace industry experienceProficiency with Earned Value ManagementExperience analyzing dataProducing and Delivering customer deliverablesExperience with Critical Path MethodologyExperience with audits and reviewsStrong communication, writing & presentation skillsProficiency developing and managing hybrid schedulesExperience with Agile methodologiesProficiency with MS Project and JIRACompensation
Base Salary : $80,000-$150,000Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA / HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.
Additional Requirements
Work Location- Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach, CA. However we will consider candidates in Denver, CO. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.Clearance - Ability to obtain secret clearance is a requirement for this job. Current Top Secret or Secret clearance preferred.Work environment - the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.Physical demands - the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
