Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Blueprint Reviewer / Checker located in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to project specifications. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain documentation, and provide feedback for revisions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and familiarity with construction design documentation.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying errors and ensuring accuracy in blueprints.
• Basic understanding of structural engineering and construction processes, particularly related to post-tension systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering and design teams.
• Familiarity with CAD software, drafting tools, or other design programs is an asset.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to construction and engineering projects.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical certifications or training in drafting or engineering are preferred.

Salary Range

$21.00-$25.00 per hour DOE

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
