The Optimization Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and upgrading optimization scanning systems used in the wood processing industry. This role provides technical field service, troubleshooting, and customer support while ensuring that systems perform at peak efficiency. The position requires extensive travel and the ability to work irregular hours, including 24 / 7 rotational support coverage. This positions range of pay will be $25.00 to $32.00 per hour.

How You Will Make a Positive Impact :

• Install, service, and upgrade optimization scanning systems for sawmills, planermills, plywood, and OSB equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on electronic and software-based systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Work directly with customers, engineers, and project managers to understand and resolve equipment or system concerns.
• Conduct regular site visits to maintain and enhance system performance.
• Ensure all equipment meets quality and safety standards.
• Provide remote support and guidance as needed.
• Maintain detailed service documentation and reports.
• Work irregular hours and overtime as required.
