What Your Day May Look Like :

  • Report alarms in accordance with client requirements and monitor cameras.
  • Greet client employees client and aid as needed.
  • Conduct internal patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
  • Monitor entrance / exits and provide guidance to site visitors and / or vendors.
  • Complete daily activity (DAR) incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
  • Provide an atmosphere in which all client employees site visitors client and Management know their needs are being met.
  • Present a good image to client public and Management.
  • Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
  • Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
  • Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client Company Management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and / or as required by the site.
  • Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
  • Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

    • Position Requirements :

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma GED OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!!
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
  • Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Must have the ability to obtain Full Time or Part Time position post coverage.
  • Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
  • Must have Day or Grave shift availability.
  • Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors customers client or client employees in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Intermediate computer / technology skills required to ensure completion of daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices and ability to report alarms via telephone.
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors public client and Office Management.
  • Must be open to communication and feedback from client and Office Management.
  • Must be able to adhere to 15 minute and lunch breaks.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
  • Must be able to remain organized and professional.
  • Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
  • Must provide high quality customer service in-person via radio and over the telephone.
  • Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and clean driving record to ensure site transferability.
  • Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
  • Must be able to present Birth Certificate for client identification requirement.
  • Must be able to attend in-person interview and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
  • Security military or law enforcement experience required.
