Job Responsibilities :
Inspect Incoming Materials received from vendors for approval, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
Inspect First Article items; communicating required adjustments to production and engineering department supervisors before final approval
Escalates quality issues to Quality Manager and / or Production Manager immediately
Inspect Finished Products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
Document inspection results by completing written reports and logs and by entering information into computer system database and software
Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the area neat and organized
Perform different / various manufacturing related tasks as may be assigned

This is a full-time position in in a casual atmosphere
The regular hours are Monday -Friday, 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM, overtime may be available / required at times

Qualifications / Required Skills :
High degree of attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Strong analytic abilities; critical thinking skills
Sit / Stand one area for several hours at a time
Lift up to 25 lbs on regular basis, 50 lbs on occasion
Comprehend & Follow Written & Verbal Instructions
Read and understand customer and company documentation and manufacturing processes such as blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists
Basic Math Skills : Addition, Subtraction, Counting, Measuring
Use precision measuring instruments and test equipment
PC and Data Entry
General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Education, Experience and Other Requirements :
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
IPC 620 Certification is a plus
Experience with wire and cable harnesses preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with electronics, electrical and electromechanical assemblies highly preferred
Previous QA / QC experience is required
Must have good (English) written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of measurement instruments required
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics required
