Salary : $45,760 - 52,000 per year

Requirements :

  • I require an associate’s degree in a related field along with 2-5 years of networking experience, or an equivalent amount of applicable work experience.
  • I seek candidates with 1-2 years of help desk experience.
  • You should possess the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical individuals.
  • You need to be able to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
  • A solid understanding of computer and / or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques is necessary.
  • I expect you to be skilled in identifying and resolving computer system malfunctions and operational issues.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • A willingness to learn and support new systems and applications is important.
  • Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of electronic components such as hard drives, memory, AC adapters, etc.
  • Familiarity with Windows is essential, and knowledge of Android and iOS is a plus.
  • You should have the ability to learn new applications and programs.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment is critical.
  • Good organizational and decision-making skills are a must.
  • You need to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation is required.
  • You must be capable of lifting or moving objects weighing between 20 to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities :

  • I will expect you to track and maintain PC hardware inventory for all Axius Water operating companies around the world.
  • You will work with the Global IT Director and local procurement staff to scope, quote, and submit purchase orders for computer replacements.
  • Coordinating timely repairs for PC equipment under third-party vendor maintenance agreements will be part of your duties.
  • You will assist in planning and tracking hardware inventory, warranty claims, software license distribution, and the decommissioning of end-of-life equipment.
  • Managing user accounts, profiles, and policies through a variety of both local and cloud-based services (Azure Active Directory, Local Active Directory, Conditional Access, Computer Compliance Policies) will be essential.
  • You will configure and finalize computer deployments through remote access to local data centers as needed.
  • Resolving setup, configuration, distribution, and logistical challenges will be a key part of your role.
  • Performing data migration between old and new systems using OneDrive Known Folder Redirect or manually when necessary will also be required.
  • You'll assist with post-deployment processes including data storage, removal from returned / decommissioned systems, organization of hardware, and recycling of physical devices.
  • I expect you to help with Intune registration, Autopilot deployment profiles, and configuration processes.
  • Monitoring Help Desk tickets assigned to you will be necessary.
  • Supporting users with the deployment process for new user computers will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Running necessary scripts for registering devices with Intune and Microsoft Defender will also fall under your duties.

    I am committed to providing ongoing support for end-user ticket resolution, including tickets that may not be hardware related. You will need to provide technical support and problem resolution through the BMC Track-It! ticketing system, email, chat, and phone to help end-users resolve technical issues. Investigating end-user problems, identifying their sources, determining viable solutions, testing, and implementing those solutions will be important tasks.

    I will expect you to administer end-user workstations and support end-user activities utilizing a mix of local area networks (LAN) based on Microsoft Windows and Azure Active Directory Domain Services, including remote locations. You will install, configure, and maintain end-user workstations, Azure Host Pools, Azure Cloud Servers, and other related equipment and systems. Assisting with software and application installations and upgrades, mainly through Remote Help, will be part of your role.

    You will record essential customer and problem information in the Track-It Ticket System, updating tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities and closing them with detailed resolutions upon completion. It is crucial to maintain confidentiality regarding the information processed, stored, or accessed by the end-users on the network.

    You will support the Cloud Network Administrator with Cloud App Deployment and Maintenance and occasionally visit sites to assess, decommission, and recycle end-of-life equipment. In collaboration with the IT Department, you'll assist in discovering and documenting any operating company’s IT resources and network. Teamwork will be essential as you contribute to discussions and process improvement initiatives, along with any other assigned tasks.

    This is a full-time position with an hourly pay range of $22.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.
