1st Class Pipe Fitter

Must have 5 + years ship yard experience.

Must pass all required test.

Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Job Description

Must perform layouts, fabrication, installation, testing and repair of pipe system.

Must be able to fit pipe and properly prepare joints for welding to meet the specific requirements of the system on which work is being done.

Work form blue prints and makes fabrication sketches from which another mechanic could fabricate a unit of pipe.

Must lay out and figure off set bends and rolling offset bends.

Must be able to read blue prints.
