Position Title : Busser
Reports To : FOH Manager / Shift Lead
Department : Front of House
Status : Non-Exempt / Tipped
Purpose
The Busser supports the guest experience by maintaining clean, organized dining areas and assisting servers in creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable environment. This role ensures the restaurant glows with cleanliness, speed, and teamwork.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain spotless tables, chairs, floors, and service stations throughout shifts.
- Assist servers with water, pre-bussing, and resetting tables quickly.
- Support food runners and expo by delivering plates and clearing dishes.
- Keep glassware, silverware, and sanitizer stations stocked and organized.
- Communicate respectfully with team members and managers to keep the dining room running smoothly.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with end-of-shift side work, trash removal, and closing duties.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
