License : VA License or proof of compact license

Must-Have :

Floating may be requested based on facility needs. Candidates cannot work both travel assignments and per diem contracts simultaneously. Locals are accepted at the same base rate. Social Security Number required at submittal. One supervisory reference is needed for submission (two are required for compliance). Prior permanent employees must have been gone for at least 6 months before being hired for travel. Keep requests for time off to a minimum. No requests for a full calendar week off, and no more than 7 days total. Any requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Specialty experience within the last year is required for all units.

Job Description :

• Provide care and support to middle and high school students.
• Ensure student health records are up to date and maintain confidentiality.
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health and wellness.
• Participate in health education and promotion activities.
• Adapt to a flexible work environment and be prepared to float based on facility needs.
• Attend an orientation program for 16 hours.
