Senior Systems Engineer (MSP) – Tier 3 Support
A fast-growing MSP in the northwest suburbs is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. This group blends the flexibility of a local MSP with the backing of a nationwide network, supporting a wide range of clients and delivering modern, high-quality IT solutions. Work Schedule :
- First 90 days : 5 days onsite (Palatine)
- After onboarding : Hybrid (2–3 WFH)
Responsibilities
Act as a senior escalation pointProvide remote + onsite support across servers, networks, desktops, and cloudAdminister Azure, Microsoft 365, AD, DNS, DHCPSupport onboarding, provisioning, and device configurationDiagnose network / server / desktop issues across varied client environmentsUse Kaseya RMM + Autotask PSA for ticketing, monitoring, documentationInstall / configure hardware & software; perform hands-on support when neededRecommend improvements to client environments and internal processesRequirements
3–5+ years MSP experience (REQUIRED)Strong communication and customer-facing skillsExpertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active DirectorySolid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)Experience with RMM / PSA tools preferredWindows / macOS support experienceValid driver's license + reliable transportationBenefits
