Post 270 is looking for a General Manager

Also considering highly skilled FOH Managers.

Our company is in partnership with Toast. Candidates whom have knowledge of Toast system is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Job Overview :

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, staff performance, and profitability. The General Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the restaurant's standards and executing its vision.

Operational Management expectations :

  • Oversee all restaurant operations, including front of house and back of house activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain processes.

Financial Oversight :

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Implement cost-control measures to optimize resources.

    • Staff Management :

  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

    • Customer Engagement :

  • Ensure a memorable dining experience for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys or direct feedback.

    • Strategic Planning :

  • Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute the restaurant’s vision and goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to adjust offerings accordingly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and inventory control.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Education :

  • A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
