Compensation Details : $22-$26 / hour, full benefits, growth opportunities

Job Summary : The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's outgoing financial obligations. This includes processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, reconciling statements, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a working knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices following company policies and procedures.
• Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
• Ensure prompt and accurate payment of invoices via check, ACH, or wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all payable transactions.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Assist in month-end closing processes related to payables.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and coded correctly.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement, Receiving) to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Participate in other ad hoc projects as required.
