Baltimore City Community College’s School of Arts and Social Sciences is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Criminal Justice. Applicants for this 10-month faculty position must have administrative experience and be qualified to provide instruction in courses such as report writing, fundamentals of law enforcement, practical law, investigative principles, management concepts, criminal procedural lawBaltimore City Community College’s School of Arts and Social Sciences is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. Applicants for this faculty position must be qualified to provide instruction in courses such as report writing, fundamentals of law enforcement, practical law, investigative principles, management concepts, criminal procedural law, criminal substantive law, field work in the administration of justice, etc. The Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice will teach 15 credit hours per semester to a diverse population of learners and through various teaching modalities, face-to-face, virtual, and/or online (day or evening); maintain scheduled office hours; develop and revise curricula, participate in course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; participate in service to the college and the school (, meetings, committee membership, activities, and events); and assist the Program Coordinator and Associate Dean with other duties as assigned. Candidates with proven ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff are highly encouraged to apply., criminal substantive law, field work in the administration of justice, etc. The Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Criminal Justice will teach 9 credit hours per semester to a diverse population of learners and through various teaching modalities, face-to-face, virtual, and/or online (day or evening); maintain scheduled office hours; develop and revise curricula, manage course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; participate in service to the college and the school (, meetings, committee membership, activities, and events); play a critical role in building the Criminal Justice program; and assist the Associate Dean with other duties as assigned.
