Level 1 : Estimated pay : $18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum)

Level 2 : Estimated Pay $22.12(minimum) - $28.85(midpoint) - $35.58(maximum)

Woodward in Loves Park IL is hiring for a 1st shift Mon-Fri (7 : 00am-3 : 30pm) Operations Technician to support our Hone lap deburr test and sub-assembly areas at our Loves Park Campus. Key Responsibilities :

Operations : Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and and supports the full product line in various processes / capacities.

Process : Observesand records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures.

Quality : Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records andmaintainsdata per operating standards.

Organization & Cleanliness : Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean organized and free of unnecessary guidelines to ensure tools materials and equipment areproperly storedandmaintained.

Safety Mindset : Adheres to all established safety protocols procedures and regulatory requirements;maintainsmindfulness of self and surrounding workareato promote a safe working environment.

Technical Capability : Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Critical Thinking : Identifiesgap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes / procedures.

Mechanical Aptitude : Demonstratesbasic understanding of mechanical systems and tools and basic equipment safely and produce productsand mayperform basic setups of equipment.

Additional Information :

Successful Candidates Typically Have :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic Mechanical aptitude preferred

Basic computer skills (email data entry etc.) preferred

Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred
