A company is looking for a Utilization Management Clinical Specialist-Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts medical necessity reviews and utilization management for service requests
Engages in care management activities and monitors consumer treatment plans
Ensures compliance with care management policies and promotes access to quality treatment
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in a Human Services field or psychiatric nursing
At least five years of post-degree experience in similar services
Current and active license from a North Carolina Professional Board
Experience in public behavioral healthcare is preferred
Experience in a utilization management environment in Behavioral Healthcare is valuable
