Real Estate Private Equity Acquisitions Associate

Selby Jennings is partnering with a well-capitalized, vertically integrated real estate investment firm based in Austin, TX. The firm specializes in opportunistic real estate and credit investments across the U.S., with a focus on complex transactions including land development, distressed assets, and structured finance.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Associate to join the investment team. This individual will be involved in all aspects of the investment process-from sourcing and underwriting to execution and asset management-within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for real estate and credit investments.
• Conduct due diligence, market research, and risk analysis on potential acquisitions.
• Prepare investment committee materials and support deal execution from LOI through closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to monitor asset performance and identify value-add opportunities.
• Assist in capital raising efforts by preparing investor materials and supporting relationship management.
