About the Project
Sepal is embarking on a qualitative research study aimed at defining benchmarks of professional excellence in earth, atmospheric, marine, or space sciences education. We invite seasoned professionals to contribute their insights by documenting their work, creating specific screening criteria, and developing high-quality case studies.
As a selected contributor, you will play a significant role in shaping an industry-informed framework for evaluating expertise in earth, atmospheric, marine, or space sciences education. This effort focuses on practical applications, informed decision-making, and professional judgment.

Requirements :
Master's degree or higher in Earth Science, Atmospheric Science, Oceanography, Geology, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of full-time professional teaching or research experience in your specialty areaExperience in field research or data analysis involving environmental or geospatial dataPublished research or contributions to scientific reports (preferred)Fluent in EnglishCurrently residing in the United States or CanadaAccess to a computer with stable internet and video conferencing capabilitiesComfortable using remote work tools (messaging, video calls, document uploads)Able to work independently and follow written instructionsWhat You'll Do :
Share your professional journey, research specialization, and teaching experienceHelp define field-specific evaluation criteria for faculty hiring and research assessment in geoscienceDocument at least one substantial research project, field study, or curriculum development, detailing context, methodology, challenges, and outcomesParticipate in short feedback or calibration sessions as neededCompensation & Logistics :
$60 to $90 per hour, based on expertise and relevance, with bonuses for key contributionsInitial engagement includes a paid trial periodPayment every two weeks based on approved and tracked hoursFully remote, asynchronous-friendly; work at your own pace within flexible deadlinesLocation : United States or Canada
