Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as managing the care of patients and advocating for evidence-based practice standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through assessments and evaluations.
- Initiate assessment based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care documentation.
- Support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
