Estate and Trust Administration Paralegal

Insero Talent Solutions is thrilled to partner with a highly respected and growing estate planning and elder law firm in their search for an Estate & Trust Administration Paralegal to join their team.
The Estate & Trust Administration Paralegal will work closely with attorneys on all aspects of probate, estate administration, and trust administration. This role requires a highly organized, detail-focused professional who brings positive energy, enjoys being fully engaged throughout the day, and gains satisfaction from helping clients navigate important and emotional life transitions.

Responsibilities :
- Support attorneys with all aspects of probate, estate administration, and trust administration, ensuring timely and accurate progression of each matter.
- Prepare, review, and file petitions, affidavits, inventories, accountings, and other required documents with Surrogate's Court.
- Facilitate the administration of trusts, including asset collection, beneficiary communications, and coordination with financial institutions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through each phase of the estate and trust administration process with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate information gathering, maintain detailed case files, track deadlines, and manage workflow systems to ensure smooth and efficient administration.
- Communicate regularly with courts, attorneys, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and third-party institutions to resolve questions, gather documentation, and advance case progress.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an estate administration paralegal.Exceptional interpersonal communication skills — warm, professional, polished, and client-focused.Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport across all ages and backgrounds.Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines.Strong work ethic with the ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfort learning new software systems.Strong written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and document formatting.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Interest in ongoing professional development — the firm provides training and continued coaching.
