Production Planner

Job Posting

Daily duties include processing drawing packages within an ERP software system. Compiling PDF drawing packages, printing drawing packages, which will be supplied to the shop for fabrication. Work closely with the procurement team / shop personnel to ensure correct materials will arrive in a timely manner. Follow both general-purpose, defined rules and situation-specific guidelines when developing work instructions. Produce complete, accurate, and timely work instructions. Continuously update data within the corporate software to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Schedule and cooperate operational activities. Ability to read company orders, determine material needs, and set up requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Understanding of manufacturing processes used in heavy steel fabrication
• Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented approach to accuracy and completion of projects while maintaining organized files.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings / design
• Proficiency in both oral and written communication
• Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite and supporting software packages
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures

This is a contract to hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
