Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for PRN night shifts to join our team of health care professionals in a newly renovated facility at 205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX. Join our team and help us provide top-tier medical services to a justice involved population! Compensation includes :

Starting rate $20.00+

As a CNA, you would be responsible to provide essential patient care in the facility including assisting licensed nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services while ensuring compliance with medical and security protocols. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a secure and structured environment.

Essential Functions

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide support to nursing staff by preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Monitor patients for signs of distress or changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Perform assignments necessary for the operation of the department as delegated by the licensed nurse.
• Assist with basic wound care, infection control, and specimen collection under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Collaborate with security and medical staff to ensure the safety and security of patients and personnel.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his / her capabilities as determined by management.

Education and Experience Requirements

Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas. Minimum of one year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting. CPR / BLS certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

Post hire requirements must successfully complete annual requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.
