Job Description :
Advantest is searching for a Technical Program Manager, in our San Jose. California office, to actively manage turnkey ATE semiconductor test solutions to be delivered primarily to external customers in the semiconductor development and manufacturing markets.
This person will work with local and often worldwide remote teams to deliver excellent quality ATE (Automated Test Equipment) solutions based on the requirements in the SOW.
This individual will be instrumental in working with the customer and the Advantest technical teams in the development of the project(s) statement of work (SOW). They will be responsible for the initial planning, tracking, and timely execution of the project deliverables.
They will be responsible to foresee and identify project risks and actively develop risk mitigation strategies. The individual will be required to provide timely status updates and reports to Advantest and customer stakeholders.
This individual, must be able to keep track of all the projects and project managers assigned to the various account deliverables , especially around key scope out turn-key projects.
This person will often need to evaluate various subcontractors, including other business units , and integrate them into the project resource team, as required. These projects at times may require working side by side with the customer to complete the projects and as such the Project Manager will need to work closely with the customer's management and technical teams as well. Program Manager's working relationship with SE manager and project auditor is key aspects of this role and responsibilities.
The ATE environment is competitive, dynamic, and rapid paced and will often require innovative technical and resource management solutions to meet deliverable schedules and the quality requirements. The Technical Program Manager will need to provide leadership to focus the team to deliver the project not only on time but will lead and challenge the team to exceed customer expectations. This includes working and collaborating with different business units namely Device Integration (DI) , ETS (Socket Design Team), ATS (SLT Team) and SATs downstream for smooth ramp.
