Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer – Transportation to support major roadway, highway, and municipal design initiatives. • Lead and support transportation design tasks including roadway geometry, highway design, grading and drainage, utility coordination, and green infrastructure.
• Develop detailed design plans, profiles, cross‑sections, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Prepare technical reports, contract documents, cost estimates, and supporting engineering analyses.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and contribute throughout concept, preliminary design, and final design phases.
• Ensure compliance with NYCDOT, NYCDDC, and applicable transportation standards.
• Provide engineering support on additional civil/transportation tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience supporting NYCDOT, NYCDDC, or NYC‑based transportation projects.
• Strong roadway/highway design background, including grading and drainage.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation; experience with InRoads/OpenRoads.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience preparing plans for civil/highway design projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
