Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition is accepting applications for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our expanding program.

Sinai Hospital serves the people of greater Baltimore as well as national and international patients. It is the largest community hospital in Maryland and the third-largest teaching hospital in the state. The Department of Pediatrics at Sinai includes 40 full-time faculty members, including more than 15 different sub-specialties. As a nonprofit teaching hospital, Sinai provides training for more than residents and medical students yearly. Sinai has the only nationally accredited pediatric training program in a Maryland community hospital with a freestanding pediatric residency program that includes a total of 25 residents. It is also a regional medical campus for George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS).

We are seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our collaborative team of pediatric specialty physicians.

The Opportunity:

• Join an active Pediatric Gastroenterology practice with 3 Physicians, 1 Advanced Practice Provider, 1 Clinical Nurse, 1 Outpatient Pediatric Dietitian and Administrative Staff.
• Primary location is at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Department of Pediatrics for inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care.
• Additional local satellite opportunities for both outpatient clinic and procedures.
• In-office procedures including FibroScan and IB-Stim.
• Day/night call coverage rotated among providers for 1 week at a time.
• Active participation in the pediatric residency program through teaching, clinical research, advising/mentoring, and committee involvement.
• Teaching opportunities for local medical students and visiting international medical students.
• Faculty appointments commensurate with experience are available from our affiliated medical institutions.
• Full-time, employed position.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree obtained from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions
• Current or obtainable DEA certificate and CDS license
• Demonstrate strong interest in working within an academic environment
