Job Title : IT Project Manager (Data Analytics, Agile, PMP Public Health, Texas HHS)
Location : Austin, TX (Onsite - Local candidates only )
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications
- Strong IT project management experience managing enterprise-level initiatives.
- Extensive experience in the information technology domain with involvement in data management solutions (data warehouses, data lakes), data analytics / business intelligence, web-based J2EE development, or SOA-related solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop clear and concise project documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams through meetings, task assignments, mentoring, facilitation, and training.
- Strong progress monitoring skills using effective risk management practices.
- Ability to provide consistent leadership updates on project issues, risks, and progress.
- Expert-level problem-solving and resolution skills.
- Full understanding and hands-on experience with both the Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience tracking full project budgets and entering actual costs into project tracking tools.
- Skilled in leading Agile project sprints, including increment planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and Kanban.
- Active PMP Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in public health environments.Experience managing initiatives across multiple agencies or IT departments.Prior work within a Health and Human Services organization.Familiarity with managing weekly activities of TSS Sprint Teams with the State of Texas.Ability to effectively manage resources in a mixed functional and matrixed environment.Skills in developing, documenting, and executing project management, work, and quality plans.Involvement in the full project lifecycle from analysis and planning through development and deployment.Experience building and managing IT project teams with the ability to motivate individuals to excel.Experience with access and eligibility programs.Responsibilities
