Detail-oriented with sound judgment and technical skills. Passion for patient care and ability to work collaboratively. Flexible to work shifts between 8 AM 8 PM . 1+ year experience with prior authorizations or insurance verification in a pharmacy. Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and claims. 40 hours / week (rotational shifts : 9 AM5 PM, 10 AM6 PM, occasional 12 PM8 PM). Rotational Saturday shift : 9 AM5 PM . 100% onsite in Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, PA. Health benefits, 401(k) Holiday pay & overtime eligibility Casual dress code Free snacks

Role Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Prior Authorization team and deliver exceptional service to patients and partners. This is a full-time, onsite role in Robinson Township, Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Initiate new prior authorization requests with providers.
- Identify and complete correct prior authorization forms for insurance providers.
- Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices to ensure accurate information.
- Follow up on prior authorization status and communicate updates to patients and providers.
- Handle appeals and respond to internal inquiries related to prior authorizations.
