A North San Jose client seeks a highly experienced physical designer passionate about delivering high value customer specific SoCs for applications like High-Performance Compute Datacenter AI / ML automotive IoT 5G.

Industry veterans. Fun stuff. Projects covering all the closely with customer frontend and integration teams. Complexleading-edge designs. Low power builds. 28nmdown to 3nm. Advanced packaging i.e. Chiplets 2.5D 3D-IC. Fast tape outs.

A seasoned hands-on MS / BSEE with breadth and depth in the areas below :

MS / BSEE

Expert handling of Verilog HDL Netlist and Physical Design Libraries.

Power analysis. IR-drop. Static Timing Analysis.

Physical Verification (PV) and fix PV errors.

  • PrimeTime. PrimePower. Redhawk.
  • Implementation. ICC2. Innovus.

Flat and Hierarchical layouts.

Scripting (Perl / Tcl / Python).

Ableto explain processes and answer customer questions during meetings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability toanalyze and resolve physical design challenges.

Location : San Jose CA. Hybrid worksite.

Compensation : Base salary open (est. $180000 - $250000). Additional performance-based incentives. Retirement plans. 401k matching. Comprehensive benefits. Generous holiday and PTO.
