Salary : $86,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements :
- Proven understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerability management along with associated IT domains.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Vulnerability Analyst required.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a cybersecurity-related field is preferred.
- Experience as a security analyst managing product vulnerability processes in cloud environments like AWS, EKS, Docker, etc.
- Practical experience with vulnerability management tools such as AWS Inspector and SonarCube.
- Knowledge of containerized web application architecture and its vulnerabilities.
- Strong grasp of vulnerability management, including risk assessment and remediation planning.
- Awareness of current hacking techniques and trends in cybercrime.
- Understanding of secure cloud network architectures, incorporating technologies like CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.
- Background in software development and delivery for a SaaS organization.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF.
- Excellent attention to detail, quality assurance skills, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities :
Focus on daily management of product vulnerabilities and supporting infrastructure.Ensure that product vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, and addressed, particularly by minimizing existing backlogs.Review and approve product releases and changes in coordination with the Security Team.Collaborate with engineering teams to grasp product vulnerability management requirements and support remediation strategies.Build connections with various teams and technology stakeholders to mitigate friction or obstacles.Organize and assist with remediation efforts following internal and external penetration testing and assessments.Analyze scan results, assign risk ratings for vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation tasks.Help establish and operationalize key performance indicators, metrics, and reporting to assess the maturity of the vulnerability program.Oversee and assist in conducting manual code reviews of key product components to enhance security.Drive the integration of security requirements upon the launch of new products across our portfolio.Implement risk prioritization frameworks collaboratively with engineering, product, and operations teams, guided by the Sr. Director of Security and Audit.Collaborate with product and sales engineering teams to strengthen applications, APIs, and microservices, embedding security within the services.Influence new deployment models such as containers, cloud platforms, and SaaS solutions, ensuring security is foundational.Champion the identification of software security issues throughout the development lifecycle and work with stakeholders to reduce risk.Keep abreast of RunBuggys threat landscape, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Technologies :
