Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Assist in complex Cardiovascular Operating Room procedures, including open-heart and vascular surgeries
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all OR safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, perfusionists, and the surgical team
• Prepare, position, and support patients throughout cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status in real time and respond swiftly to changes
• Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and accurate perioperative documentation
• Integrate seamlessly into a fast-paced CVOR environment

Requirements for the Travel Nurse:

• Active Texas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience.
