The position offers competitive locum tenens rates along with medical malpractice coverage and paid travel. Candidates are expected to work Monday through Friday, evaluating 80-100 cases daily with support from a dedicated team of technicians and nurses.

On-site Breast Imaging Radiologist needed for hospital-based breast care center in Lansing, MI.

Locum tenens or permanent provide sought starting as soon as credentialed (60-90 days).

• Locums rates $250-300 / hr
• Paid Travel
• Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided
• Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8a-5p (no call)
• Seeking1-4 weeks per month depending on availability
• Average Number of Cases per Day : 80-100 screening mammograms / tomos
• Procedures : all the usual Mammography procedures including biopsies and aspirations
• 5 mammo units, one with contrast, 4 ultrasound units, upright and prone 3D stereotactic biopsy units
• Support Staff : 8 mammo techs & 3-4 US techs daily. Breast nurse navigator on site with additional medical assistants, registrars, and supervisors.
• 3-4 Radiologists onsite daily
• Level 3 trauma
• EMR : EPIC
