Faculty Outpatient Neurology position in East Texas 90 mi from Dallas

Texas health system is hiring a BE / BC General Neurologist to join their outpatient Neurological Institute faculty team growing in beautiful east Texas.

About the Position :

• Currently 6 Neurologists (3 Neurohospitalist, 1 general, 2 movement disorder specialists)
• 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
• Monday-Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• High patient volume due to expanding practice
• Patients : 18+ years old, 12-18 new and follow up mix per day
• Call : Shared night call coverage with outpatient and inpatient physicians
• One weekend call every other month - inpatient
• Neurology Residency potentially starting in 2024
• Opportunity to teach and work with residents
• Ideal candidate : EEG and EMG / NCU skills preferred
