Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to provide legal support to low-income tenants facing eviction in Bronx Housing Court and related hearings. This role involves managing cases, advocating for clients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure housing stability.

Responsibilities:
• Represent tenants in eviction proceedings, including non-payment and holdover cases.
• Advocate for clients in Bronx Housing Court and during termination hearings.
• Prepare motions, legal documents, and orders to show cause with precision and attention to detail.
• Lead community outreach initiatives and deliver workshops on housing law.
• Partner with caseworkers, paralegals, and team members to address client needs.
• Maintain accurate case records and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
• Participate in a structured four-week training program to enhance legal practice skills.
