Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Employment Type : Contract | 6 months or longer

Pay : $36.35 - $45.50 per hour

Advance your career with Staffmark. We are seeking an experienced Financial and Budget Analyst.

What You'll Do :

• Conduct complex financial, budgetary, and compliance analyses to support long-range planning and fiscal performance evaluation.
• Manage budget planning, financial reporting, and fiscal oversight for multiple departments and programs, including the Dean of Students, Student Engagement, and Auxiliary units.
• Prepare internal and external financial and compliance reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate the annual budget process and fiscal year-end closing activities.
• Oversee general ledger reconciliations, cost transfers, and fund tracking to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Serve as a key resource for financial compliance reviews and internal audits, ensuring adherence to university policies, fund restrictions, and state / federal regulations.
• Support divisional leadership by preparing executive dashboards, reports, and financial materials for briefings and advisory groups.
• Collaborate with CFAO and departmental business officers on financial planning, budget presentations, and strategic initiatives.
