Locate and remove parts from vehicles in the yard in a safe manner. Essential job duties include receiving labels for parts to be pulled, pulling and retrieving parts from vehicles, inspecting parts for damage, staging parts for delivery, operating a forklift or order selector to transport parts, sorting and placing parts on racks, responding to customer counter sales, verifying in-stock positions, classifying returns, checking in defective parts, signing off on deleted tickets, loading trucks, putting wheel cores in the staging area, maintaining orderliness, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Self-service duties include operating a forklift or loader to assist in moving cars, cleaning out debris from cars, pulling out batteries to be tested, working with the loader operator, walking the yard to place debris, dismantling tires, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations, wearing required PPE, and complying with company policies.

Supervisory responsibilities include not responsible for supervising employees. Minimum requirements include 0+ years of experience, with preferred requirements being a high school diploma / GED and forklift certification. Knowledge / skills / abilities include basic math, computer skills, and following standard procedures. Essential physical demands involve standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working in hazardous conditions, cramped spaces, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays.
