The Finance Team at Sword plays a pivotal role in scaling the company and driving sustainable growth. We partner across the organization to lead financial planning, analysis, and operations - ensuring smart resource allocation, rigorous compliance, and strategic insights that enable informed decisions and long-term impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee all company spend, from direct (hardware, supply chain) to indirect (software, vendors, marketing, professional services) to staff costs.
• Partner with FP&A and all budget owners to connect hiring, vendor, and automation decisions to measurable ROI.
• Build systems / dashboards that create transparency and accountability across every spend category.
• Identify and lead automation or process redesign initiatives that increase output and speed across the company.
• Manage and grow a small, high-impact team (including 2 Procurement Leads and a Headcount / Workforce Analyst) to execute initiatives.
• Work directly with the CFO, CEO, and other leaders to design how Sword scales from here.

Salary

$225,400 - $354,200 a year

This range includes base, variable and equity These compensation bands are just the starting point. Once someone joins and proves they're outlier talent, we adjust quickly to ensure their compensation aligns with their impact. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary and any potential variable, bonus or sales incentives, and the Company's estimation of the value of private company stock options, if applicable. The pay range is subject to change, future value of company stock options is not guaranteed, and compensation may be modified in the future.
