This position is for a NICU Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist shall perform duties involved with the treatment, management control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and / or abnormalities within the Pulmonary system. Communicates with Physician and Respiratory team regarding patients progress in regards to care plan. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Required Certifications :

BLS

NRP

ACLS / APLS preferred

Skills required :

Adult : general and critical care

NICU : Ground transports, Nitric Oxide administration, transport experience preferred

Must be able to work independently in a level 3 NICU – could be the only NICU RRT on Nights

Floating requirements :

May float to adult units within the hospital if needed.
