Endocrinology opening - Albany NY H1b Eligible Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Primarily outpatient responsibilities- ON CALL : Hospital-they all rotate through the hospital, a few weeks out of the year; Clinic-rotate through, after hour service; Outpatient Clinic call is 1 in every 8- 10 weeks divided amongst APs and Physicians. - Hospital call varies - 2 inpatient Endocrinologists who cover most hospital weeks so it usually ends up being 4-5 weeks per year, covering vacations, etc. When covering inpatient call, it would be in conjunction with outpatient call in the same week. - The multi-disciplinary team of Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators are dedicated to helping individuals with diabetes improve their quality of life. They strive to provide innovative treatment strategies for our patients by teaching them how to effectively control and manage the disease.- The practice provides diagnosis, treatment and long-term care for individuals with diabetes, and other endocrine and metabolic disorders; offering the latest diabetes care technology, including insulin pump / sensor download and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for diagnosis.- Specialized services include : complication screening, prevention and treatment, medication management, foot care, smoking cessation, onsite HbA1c testing, weight management and nutritional counseling, diabetes support groups, and individual and group diabetes education classes. Compensation and Benefits : - Salary range : $245,000 and $265,000 per year with eventual move to integrated compensation model based on productivity- Relocation assistance if applicable- Retention bonuses of 15K for 2 years- Starting bonus - 35K- Health, Dental, Vision insurance- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)- Paid malpractice, including tail coverage- CME time & expense allowance- Paid time away from the practice- Two-part retirement savings program with employer matching program Requirements - BC / BE
