THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will plan, coordinate, and conduct investigations into allegations of violations of the standards of conduct, laws, rules, and regulations of the professional and occupational licensing boards and commissions under the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. This involves working independently and collaborating closely with other investigators, supervisors, and prosecuting attorneys to ensure all information is collected. Your responsibilities will include gathering facts, reviewing and evaluating information and documents, handling legal documents, conducting in-person interviews, and writing thorough, accurate, and timely reports. You may also be needed to testify at hearing or proceedings. Work relies on travelling to various sites to conduct investigations, interviews, and related business with your assigned geographic region. Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
