Full job description

Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the Food Service Director / Supervisor, the food service aide works in conjunction with the cooks in preparing resident meal trays and special dietary requirements, along with serving food to residents, visitors, or staff.

floors, dish rooms, pot washing sanitation and storeroom.

1. Ability to read, write, speak and follow oral and written directions in English.

2. Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

1. Frequent exposure to refrigeration and freezer temperatures.

2. Frequent exposure to radiating heat.

3. Frequent lifting of boxes up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects.

4. Standing and walking for long periods of time for a significant part of the shift.

5. This position is required to work every weekend unless scheduled otherwise.

Compensation : $17- $18.50 per hour (based on experience)
