Plant Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Plant / Process Engineer for our Pulp & Paper Segment to support the Washougal, WA production facility by performing various engineering tasks as directed by the plant manager.

In this role you will be responsible for :

• Improving chemical production and utility processes.
• Collaborating with production staff to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Leading process safety activities, including :
• Management of Change
• Process hazard analysis
• Pre-start up reviews
• Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions for process incidents.
• Training personnel on new / changed processes.
• Providing technical and process safety support for new / experimental product trials.
• Developing and updating operating procedures, P&IDs, engineering records.
• Supporting or leading capital projects.
• Assisting with creation of SOPs for new and existing equipment and processes as needed.
• Developing competency to fill in for team members as needs arise.

What we offer :

The starting salary range for consideration for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 per year with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. The actual starting salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant employment history & experience, skill set / competencies, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
