Counter Sales Representative

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative.
Starting at $20 / hr or more based on experience. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include :
Providing advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needsProcessing orders via order management systemOperating cash registers and following established cash handling proceduresPreparing and staging orders for customer pick upMaintaining store appearance and merchandising standards as advisedEnsuring that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areasMaintaining a safe working environment including PPE (personal protective equipment)Qualifications include :
0-3 years of experience preferredBasic knowledge of products is preferredGeneral digital literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications requiredAbility to lift, load, and deliver merchandiseGeneral math skills to allow for cash accountingAn ability to learn is a must have!Excellent decision making and communication skillsPre-employment drug and background screening requiredFerguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
